Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, one of the undeniable true pioneers who stands out in this generation, has once again been honoured for his hard work and dedication to bettering the lives of persons with disability (PWDs) and the world at large. Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman at Global Well Respected CEOs Awards and Conference which took place on the 27th of October, 2023 in the plush Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore, was honoured with two awards - Home Care Products Manufacturing, as well as a distinguished award for his exceptional contributions to disability advocacy. The awards scheme under the theme, “Promoting Global Corporate Competitiveness for Attaining the SDGS” is designed to identify and publicly recognise the corporate /institutional CEOs from all around the world. Being the only recipient of two prestigious awards at the illustrious event, he used the occasion to call for world peace and the need to live peacefully with each other. Bishop Dr. Charles C. Hackman, the CEO of DV Unlimited Company Limited, a successful manufacturing and marketing businesses in Ghana, which produces quality home care and personal care products under the brand name DV Kliners. It has also gained great recognition as the only company in Ghana manufacturing Made in Ghana hotel amenities for the hospitality industry.

Bishop Dr. Hackman is not only astute at business, but also exudes a uniqueness in exquisitely marrying business with humanitarian work. As the esteemed founder and CEO of the H4P (Here for Perfection) Organization, a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, Bishop Dr. Charles Hackman has for more than a decade, through H4P, promoted the fundamental human rights and privileges of persons with disability (PWDs). His generosity knows no bounds as he consistently allocates a significant portion of the profits from DV Unlimited Co. Ltd to support and uplift the disability community. His selflessness and dedication to this cause have not only won him awards but have also touched the lives of countless individuals with disabilities, making him a true icon in the world of home care product manufacturing and disability advocacy. His tireless efforts continue to inspire and set a remarkable example for others in the industry.

The H4P Organization has for over twelve years embarked on several life-transforming projects and initiatives. These include the Helping Hand TV Show an educative and reliable media advocacy for persons with disabilities, the Helping Hand Community Project which offers support services, H4P - Ability Praise Concert (APC); a platform for the promotion of abilities of persons with disabilities in the area of creative arts and entertainment, C.H.I.L. Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman received the Dr. Seidu Danaa Special Award in 2013, two doctorate degrees in Divinity and Humanity by the Calvary Cross Clergy Council and Seminary in November 2019, the Humanitarian Category Award at the Ghana Leadership Award Ceremony in October 2020, Africa’s Most Respected C.E.O in the Industrial Chemical Manufacturing Category, July 2021 and Timothy Bowles African Human Rights Award, Virginia USA, November, 2021. In June this year, the prestigious Doctor of Letters Honoris (Hon. D. Litt) award was conferred on him by the American Heritage University of Southern California, USA, in recognition of his exceptional contribution to society by promoting inclusivity, dignity and equal rights for all individuals.
